Wow Im Lazy!

It seems like I just can't seem to keep up with Blogging anymore. And yet there really is no excuse! We just celebrated the 4th of July with my family and Stephen's Best friend Adam and his adorable kids Logan and Janae! We swam at my parents house had Pizza and the drove over to the Tempe Towne Lake firework show! It would have been a perfect day if it hadnt been for those annoying mosquitos at the lake that were infesting any person who got near the water! I cant believe it but i had my camera on me the entire time and did not take even one picture! Anyways, along with the rest of my update! We are officially having a new baby Boy! We havent really decided on a name so I will have to keep you posted! We are soooooo Excited! Quentins 5th Birthday is coming up... Cant belive my lil baby is 5 already! And later this month James, Stephens brother is graduating from college! Congrats to him! As for us right now, continueing home renovations and living life is on the main agenda! Have to have the house complete before the Baby is born! Hopefully i can get and put some updated photos on here! I guess that is it for right now. TTFN!!!

I finally put all of the pictures from my camera onto my computer so here is the main update! We got our new Baby Hades, eight months ago! He is such a good fit in with the family and the boys LOVE him!

Quentin was playing games with his Uncle Jim. He was so excited. He was talking to him and and actually shooting the guns and flying the airplanes. He is really good at video games, for a 4 year old. Just Another Update...

So Quentins Birthday is On Sunday the 25th! He is going to be a big number 4. I am so excited... Its amazing how fast he is growing... Time is just Flying by! I was just looking through some of his baby pictures this morning, and it made me think "where did the time go" it seems like just yesterday i had him bundled up in his little blue blanket getting in the car from the hospital. Scared to death wondering what the heck do I do with this lil baby. And now he can talk, walk, run, read (some stuff), count, and help out around the house. Its crazy knowing that when he turns 16 or 21 that I will be sitting here saying the same stuff i am saying now. I just hope that I can be the Mother that he needs me to be so that when the day comes that he moves out or gets married that he is prepared because it just seems like time is in Fast-forward. I hope I will be able to slow it all down so it wont feel like tomorrow when that time does come. Hmmm. Pictures will be posted the day after his birthday party for all to see.

Wow it has seriously been forever since i have updayed the blog. Since the last pics went up. My sister Mallory has gotten married to an awesome guy named Weston. they are perfect for eachother. Stephen has an awesome job that he loves. And we just found out today that he is getting promoted. He will now be team-lead at the NOC, at ValorIt. Yeah!!!!!!! He is now supervising all of the other NOC engineers where he is at. Stephen threw me an Awesome suprise birthday party over the weekend. even though my b-day is on the 30th. And we are currently house hunting. And I finally got my CNA certification. Things are going great!!!

As with tradition we spent Christmas Eve over at my Grandpa Don's House. Mallory was totally embarrased because she got Lingere in front of all of our extended family!!!! So we took the boys to the park, And they had the best time ever!!! They love being set loose on the slide and love the little horses that they can sway back and forth on. But Quentin was not too sure about the bridge thing, he was so afraid to cross it, it was hilarious. So James and Heidi came into town, and we decided to have a family camp out.... It was alot of fun with the boys! And Coco had her camping debue... The Boys had so much fun! There was a creek near camp, and a Fish hatchery just up the road, we went to the hatchery with the whole fam, and we took the boys to the creek three times! They had a blast... So yesterday Stephen called me to let me know that he finally was transferred to HHC. Which means he could be home within 1 - 3 weeks. This is that final lap before he is finally home and in my Arms again, and yet now the days are dragging by worse than they ever had before. I feel like i am in one of those dreams where you feel like you are running as fast as you can only to look back and see that you havent even moved an inch! I swear time is playing games with my head.... Stephen tried to give me something to do to pass the time, I am in charge of Vacation planning for when he gets here! We are planning on throwing Quentin his 3rd birthday party! And then spending another week at home (so he can spend time with his dad) and Then we are planning on hitting Vegas for a weekend. Then comoing back! Spending more time with the boys! Then hitting Mexico possibly for another weekend! Then coming back and getting ready for our main trip of Going on a week long cruise!!! Just me and him!!! We would originally just go on the main trip but we are going to have to wait for Stephen to get his Passport!!! Those stupid things take forever to get to you! I pretty much planned almost everything out in the first few hours after getting off of the phone with him so i am back to thinking about him and how long it is taking the time to pass. It sucks! But in the end it will be worth it!! I cant wait for the boys to see him when he gets off of the Plane!!!!! They miss him so much!!!! I will definetly have one of my sisters there to photograph that!!!!! WE CANT WAIT!!!!!

Fireworks!

So we took the Boys to the Tempe Town Lake Fireworks. Camden kept screaming at them like they were in trouble. Everytime a new set went off he would point and yell. And Quentin was completly in Awe. He just watched silently. And afterwards he looked at me and said. "I like Firworks" It was cute. It was all in all a good fourth of july. We missed stephen but he snuck a phone call so we could all talk to him! We swam! And Camo surprised me. I put him in Floaties, and he took off.... We would jump off of the step and Float around the pool, no problem. It was amazing. Last time i tried that he didnt understand and kept putting his head underwater. And yesterday he did it like a pro. I will have to take some pics and Post them soon. Maybe tomorrow?!?

So i am hoping to hear from Stephen sometime today! And Dan is getting Baptized today at 10:00 a.m. YA!!!!!! We are so Excited and Proud of him! I really wish that Stephen could be here for this! Finally An Update!!!!

Sorry that it has taken me so long to update, It has been a crazy few weeks! My sis Mal just drove off with her friend Michelle to Vegas, Camden just went down for a nap! And I found out that Stephen is getting Medically Discharged from the Military, He sprained his ACL and his LCL. SO i am expecting him to be sent home within the next Month or so!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!! Today i have an Appt at 3:00 at Everett College! I am going to see if i want to finish up my Nursing Degree with them! Liffe is Great! That is how i Sum it all up!!! I am hoping that Mal will continue Dating this guy Jordan that she is going up to visit in Vegas, He is Awesome and a Perfect fit into the Family (crossing my fingers) they are cute together! And i Cant wait for Stephen to Get home!!!!!! We are Planning a trip for just the two of us as soon as he gets home!!!! We need a little Catching up time!!!! I will update as often as possible!!!! Thanks!

Making Changes!

It really is amazing to me to see how much a person can change in the blink of an eye. I know that for me I thought that throughout the years of being Married to Stephen that I really hadnt or wasnt changing very much at all and that whatever changes were happening were very small and for the better. But just being away from Stephen for this past month and a half has shown me how much I have changed already throughout the years and how Quickly I can change for the better. Before Stephen left for Boot Camp we never went to church accept for on the very rare occasion which beleve me was very rare. Our relationship was really good though. We loved each other and our kids, but something was missing... we werent really sure what was missing but we knew that something was. So of course, as many have before us we tried to fill that hole with things that we really shouldnt have... Before I had always thought that we werent so bad off since our only Big flaw was going to church ( or the lack there of. ) But as we continued attempting to find that missing peice we didnt realize the affect that it was having on our relationship. No red flags shot up to tell us that we were hurting ourselves. I guess we should have just known. Because since Stephen has been gone we have missed eachother so much. And we dont want to hurt one another so we have stopped filling our hole the way we were and since we were apart both of us have gone back to attending church. I know to those of you who dont go or go but arent really there you are going to think "yeah one of those stories again, you go back to church and everything gets better" and you are wrong. If anything my life has gotten a ton harder. I have had to make choices that a few years ago would have been easy to make but were so hard since i have changed so much. For those of you who know what is going on in my life right now will understand exactly what I am talking about. But since i have gone back to church, I know that church was what was missing before, and if I would have realized that then I wouldnt be in all of the weirrd and difficult positions that I am in now. But i can tell you this, that because of Stephen being separated from me and me from him we have both realized how very blessed we are... and how much we took one another forgranted. And how much stronger our relationship is now and will be, with each other and our boys. I am just so thankful to have the Church. And I am so thankful that I have my perfect, amazing, wonderful, forgiving, silly, forgetful, loving, caring, thoughtful, sweet husband. And of course my amazing, crazy children that keep me busy and on my toes. I also want to thank everyone that has been there for me through the years and through this tough time.... Thank you!

A Phone Call Changes Everything!

So tonight I got to talk to Stephen, I mean Actually talk to Stephen. I got to have a 43 min conversation with him!!!! I swear i will be Happpy for at least Two weeks. ( what can i say i am greedy and i want to hear from him more!!! So we talked about his Dad (who is currently in the hospital dealing with more than one or two problems) and then we talked about how things are going for him over there! And of course we talked about how he is doing physically..... He apparently sprained his knee and it is completely swollen because there is a butt load of fluid around it and there must be something else wrong with it because he was talking about operating on it but he was a little hard to understand because he is possibly suffering from pnemonia on top of everything else! And then he told me that he slept better last night after hearing my voice and the boys voices over the PHone! ( he called last night to tell me to yell at his mom) ( special shout out to Sabra! if you werent being difficult i wouldnt have gotten to speak with him two days in a row!!!!) And he told me how Camo looks so different than he did when he left... oh and i am not allowed to send him any more pics of anything..... apparently i overloaded him with them and he is getting introuble for them now! And lastly we of course talked about how much we loved and missed each other.... i cant even express how happy i am that i was able to talk with him, these two days have been the first in a month and a half... i had actually started to forget the sound of his voice... I love him sooo much and i cant wait to either hear from him or see him!!! Nothing more to say other than the fact that it was a very exciting night!!! AND CONGRATS TO MY SISTER MAL WHO GRADUATED TONIGHT!!!!! YEAH YOU DID IT!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE YA!!!!!

Nana took on both boys at once, shes a brave one!!! They are very demanding about the swing going fast enough!

Camo swung on the swing for twenty minutes straight and still cried when we stopped so we put him the little swings for another 15, he is obsessed!

Q is so independent, he only likes the swings if he is by himself!

So Sheena had gotten a new puppy, which is absolutely adorable. But Quentin kept getting upset that the puppy wasnt his! He kept saying my puppy and Janae would say no puppy and they would go back and forth until i would have to tell Q that it was in fact Janaes puppy and not his! He was so sad!!!! So i was on a new mission, find Q and Camo a new Puppy! I DID!!!! She is the Cutest little Min Pin! She is the chocolate rust color and is so itty bitty! Quentin LOVES her! Easter Egg Hunt

So yesterday was Glenn and Sabras Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Quentin and Camden had so much fun picking up candy, snacks, and of course MONEY! They each got a little egg with their name on it and a dollar inside. So here are some Pics of the happy event!!

Movie Night

Sheena is the best! She has been trying so hard to keep me busy so i dont get upset! So on Friday night we went out for movie night! Firt we did a little shopping at the mall then we went to Applebees for dinner and then went out to a movie! We saw I love you, Man! It was Pretty funny the guys on the movie act just like Stephen and Adam Act when they are together! I had a really good time, so, Thank you Sheena you are Awesome!

I also had the boys color a picture each to send to stephen with my letter! So for some insane reason, after he swore in the army was in some huge hurry to get them to the airport! So we didnt really get to talk much. But we did get to have a quick goodbye!

And here is the last pic that I was able to take of him before he hopped in the Shuttle to leave! Q was yelling "bye Dada" out the window as he drove away and then looked at me and said "dada gone". I'm pretty sure that i died right there. He is so cute!

And thankfully i have spoken to Stephen 3 times on the phone since this pic. We love him, and all three of us miss him already!

Morning Of

We woke up at 4:30 a.m. to make sure that he was fully packed and ready to go! And of course Q woke up and wanted to say bye bye to Dada!

About 15 min after stephens recruiter picked him up, Camden woke up and Grandgpa helped me take care of them and get them ready to see Stephen do his Final Swear in and see him off!

Q and Camo had fun watching Airplanes and people working on the ground while we waited for Stephen to Swear in!

He is such a Goober, he thought he was hilarious making fun of himself swearing in!

Camo was being such a pill, the only way to keep him was to take pics of him and then let him look at them! Here is one of them!

So on saturday Stephen took Quentin to the Air show over at Luke Air Force Base. Quentin had so much fun, Stephen said that every time he saw an airplane take off he would yell, Awesome, awesome airplane!!!!! Camo's First Bike Ride!

Well Camden is officially a Big Boy now! He has gone on his very first bike ride with Papa Porter. He did so good, other than not understanding that he needed to put forth the effort of holding onto the handle bars. So instead he figured he would just kick back and relax and let Grandpa do all the work.

And of course Quentin got a little jealous so he went on a ride after Camo got back!

ZOO TIME

So today we took the Boys to the Zoo! Q had a HayDay with in the Monkey Village... He kept screaming "MONKEY, I See MONKEY!" It was so funny, he almost got to touch one! It was less than two feet from him. Camo like the Orangutangs, he was pointing at them and laughing talking in his German Gibberish. And then right before we left we hit the Splash Pad, on the internet they said that it wouldnt open up until april, so i didnt dress the boys in their swim suits and i wish that i would have. That was the Icing on the cake. Quentin was a little scared of getting splashed at first but Camo ran right into it, and eventually lost his pants because they were so heavy when they were soaked all the way through! Quentin eventually got over his fear and joined Camden in the screamin running fun... All in all it was a good trip!

I just think that this is the Cutest Picture ever of Camden!

And Quentin is just getting way to big!

Stephen Update!

So today Stephen swore into the U.S. Army as a 19D Cavalry Scout! Stephen has always wanted to join the Military, and of course me being as selfish as I am wouldnt even let him talk about joining. So after 4 1/2 years of being together i finally let him start to talk about joining and it was not even half as bad as i thought that the military was. So we started talking about it seriously and weighed the pros and cons. We eventually decided that this large decision would be good for us and the boys, that we would become a closer family. So things are set in motion and Stephen will be deployed on April 1st to Kentucky for Boot Camp and his MOS training. And will be gone until October.

So since I have been ridiculously busy lately I have completely slacked on my Blogging. So here is the Grand ole update! So I am still working on Potty Training Quentin. Of course i would call it a work in progress but that would intail some progress being made which there hasnt been. He hates the toilet today as much as he did the day he first saw it! Camo has Officially decided that he is no longer afraid of the stairs and has conquered going down them countless times a day! Come Monday Stephen will be attmepting some conquering of his own... He is going to take the Asvab for the military. We are hoping for the best. If he passes with (ironically enough) flying colors then he will most likely be siging up and leaving within a month! So with that, for all that are worried! We ( stephen and I ) have talked out everything and the is a decision that i fully support one hundred percent! Although i would of course rather him stay here with me!!! (I had to mention that one)... Anyways, there is the update! Enjoy !

New Years Resolutions!!!!!

So this year i decided that no New Years reloulutions was my resolution! I dont know about everyone else, but it seems like every single time that i make a New Years resolution, i break it almost instantaneously. I can even tell you how many years in a row i have decided to lose weight,and instead of losing i end up gaining! But if like this past year, i decided after much self cut downs, that it was time to finally drop the unwanted lbs. So it has been about four months and i have lost about 25 lbs. Even through the holidays! Crazy huh!!! I am pretty proud of that one! So heres to no more broken resolutions!!! CHEERS !!!

So Christmas was the absolute best! Christmas eve we were at my Grandpa Don's for our annual party, where quentin got a new car holder and 20 new cars, and Camo got a Thomas the Train Scooter/ Walker and Stephen and I got Super Cute clothes! Afterwards we ended up staying the night at my parents where of course Santa knew to drop off the boys christmas presents, between us, santa, and both sets of grandparents Camo and Q hit the Jackpot. Which by the way Quentin has not put down any of his new toys, we cant even get him to leave his room without crying! And Camden refuses to stop playing with his new Elmo desk and cars! And I got spoiled with clothing and giftcards!!!! THANK YOU!!!! So thank you to everyone who helped to make this Christmas a wonderful one, whether it was with gifts, phone calls or your company, Thank you!

On our way home from the snow, we decided to stop by Chip and Nancys to visit with Grandma and them!!! Chip and Nancy are doing well, And Grandma looks like she is doing better. The Boys had fun playing with the dogs and Nancy spoiled Camden to death. We had fun visiting with them!

So we decided to leave right after i got off work on Sunday Night, so we drove out at 4 in the morning! We went and picked up Grandpa Fisher, and Grandma Fisher made us some breakfast. And then we headed up to Flagstaff.

Grandpa brought his sled. And he and Stephen took turns pushing the boys around.

They had so much fun, As soon as we got up there it started to snow and didnt stop for the remainder of the trip. It was great!!!

The Gingerbread Choo Choo!

Okay, so last week when i was christmas shopping i saw some ginger bread houses, but quentin saw the gingerbread Choo choo, so of course we got that one!

So we decided to make it tonight, Q was so excited ( camo is always excited )

Q kept eating the candy before we could put it on the train, and Camo was enjoying the icing. But when we finally finished this is how it turned out!

So Nana and Papa decided to decorate their christmas tree tonight and of course Quentin was more than willing to help. So just like on my tree he clumped them all on one or two branches. It's Christmas Time!!!

YES!!!!!!! So we started decorating, and of course the Christmas Tree is up! Quentin Helped out soooo much. He is so stinkin cute, he put the candy canes on the tree. And him and Camden keep trying to eat them all. I will be decorating the whole outside of the house tomorrow!!!!! I am so happy, This is my absolute favorite time of year!!!!! Yeah Thankgiving!!!! So we had it at our house this year with Stephen's side of the family! And for all of you that dont know that consists of 10 adults and 16 children, but sadly Heidi couldnt make it out this year so it was 2 adults and 3 children less. Still, a very large crowd. It was, as always a zoo. But no broken bones ( taryn broke her toe a week later). We actually had a ton of fun.... And needless to say the food was AMAZING. I want to give a special shout out to all who cooked, HEY!!! And now on to CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the night before Thanksgiving we decided to have a fun family night and took the boys to Peter Piper. Quentin and Camden had sooo much fun. We were actually surprised at how well they both behaved. Then they got a little extra treat because right before we were about to leave Papa Porter called and said that he wanted to stop by and visit. So Q and Camo got to see him and play with him too. It was a really great night!

So My sister is absolutly NUTS!!! She sat in the growing line that she was the head of for the Midnight showing of Twilight from 2 in the afternoon. Yes People, She sat for 10 Hours. Nuts!!!!! So once Sheena and i got there we only had to wait for about an hour before we were let into the theatre. Then we got bored and started taking some pics. So i want to give a special shout out to my crazy sister Mandi! "HEY" Any ways the movie wasnt amazing but it wasnt half bad. The book is way better but what could beat the book. Any who. So I know that it has been a ridiculously long time since i last updated my blog, so let me fill you in on what is going on! We have officially left our dumpy house on the dirty (literally) three acres behind. And moved into a gorgeous and enormous house. Quentin has decided that his favorite new words are please and Mine!!! I'm pretty sure that you can guess which word i would rather hear! Camden is now crawling around the house like a normal baby would, yes, no more army crawl!!! Stephen is looking into becoming a Corrections Officer, fun huh!?!?! I on the other hand am currently working at Harrahs Casino as a beverage server. I know its not the best thing in the world but, what the heck.... I am getting everything ready to go so that i can start school back up to continue my prereqs towards my nursing degree. Quick FYI Cam Cam is turning one on the 12th of October but i am planning on having his party on the 11th, at our new home. So mark your calendars and be looking for the invite in the mail!
